MAEER was the first step of the revolution in the education scenario of Maharashtra. Maharashtra, the third largest state in the country, with a rich heritage, known as the land of saints and also, the one which gave great leaders to the world had yet to progressed in the field of education. This realization embarked the journey of MAEER – in 1983 with the establishment of Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the first private engineering college in Maharashtra which still remains the flagship institute of the group.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune offers admission to B.Tech. program on the basis of candidate’s performance in the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs viz. JEE Main.
Selected candidates have to appear in person for the admission process at the Institute, and have to produce the College Seat Allotment letter along with all required documents (originals and one set of photocopies) as requested by the Institute.
The tuition fee is required to be paid through DD in favor of “Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune”, payable at Pune. The final status of seat confirmation will be provided online.

The candidate must have passed Passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks for OBC candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Candidates are required to appear for MHT-CET and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2009) conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of candidate’s score in MHT-CET 2018 /JEE Main 2018.
