About Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), is a technological university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It is named after the Gujarati entrepreneur and Reliance group founder Dhirubhai Ambani. It is run by the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is promoted by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

The college offers B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology, M.Sc. in Information Technology, M.Des in Communication Design and M.Tech in Information and Communication Technology. DAIICT also offers Ph.D. program in various disciplines.

• Selection of candidates in B.Tech program is done on the basis of JEE Main 2019.
• Minimum eligibility for B.Tech is pass in 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Computer Science/Biology.
• For M.Tech, candidate must pass in BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline with minimum 60%^ marks.
• Selection to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE score.
• Selection to M.Des is done on the basis of CEED, and DAT scores, Statement of Purpose (SOP) and interview.
• Selection to M.Sc. is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the college.

Admission Process

The minimum academic qualification required for admission to any of the Undergraduate Programmes is 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised/ central board/ university or any other qualifying examination as listed eligible by the university with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology.Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the course.

Course Details

The University offers 2 four-year programmes at the Undergraduate Level, namely,

• B. Tech. (ICT)
• B. Tech. (Hons. In ICT with minor in CS).

The course structure is broadly divided into 3 categories which are Foundation Courses, Electives Courses and Internships & B.Tech. Project (BTP).
