The course deals with surgery and handling of animal live-stocks. Besides surgery, a person needs to take care of non-spreading of diseases in animals and need to give advices regarding medicine and vaccination of the same. They take up practice exclusively of either large animals such as cattle including horses, pigs, sheep; poultry or small animals mainly household pets including dogs, cats, birds or both. Although it is suggested to go for both B.V.Sc. and AH as it widens up the level of a veterinarian in terms of getting better job opportunities and experience.
